How we verify events
Ibiza's club calendar changes constantly: line-ups move, nights are cancelled, and the same party is announced under several different names. This page explains how our calendar is built and how confident you should be in it.
Where our event data comes from
Every event in our calendar is tied to a specific venue and a specific date. Listings are assembled from venue and promoter announcements, official venue programmes, and public ticketing pages, then reconciled against our own event records. We do not publish an event on a date unless we hold a record supporting that exact date.
What "verified" means here
Different records carry different levels of confidence, and we do not claim more than we hold:
- Date-confirmed — we hold a record for that venue on that exact date.
- Residency-derived — the night is part of a recurring season residency and the specific date has not yet been separately confirmed.
- Corrected — the listing was changed after we found a conflict, a cancellation or a venue change.
We never state that a listing has been confirmed against multiple sources unless that is true for that individual record.
Why duplicate listings appear on other sites
The same night is often published under a brand name, a headline artist name and a venue name — for example a party listed once under its brand and again under the DJ playing it. Aggregators that copy listings without reconciling them end up showing the same night two or three times, sometimes at the wrong venue.
We resolve this before publishing: listings for the same venue, the same date and the same night-time session are grouped, matched against known brand and artist relationships, and reduced to a single canonical entry. Genuine multi-room or multi-session nights at one venue are kept as separate entries, because they really are separate events.
Cancellations and changes
When a night is cancelled or moved we keep the record and mark its status rather than silently deleting it, so a page you bookmarked still tells you what happened. Cancelled events are labelled as cancelled on the page and in their structured data.
How often the calendar refreshes
Event records are refreshed on a rolling basis through the season, and cached calendar pages are revalidated within minutes of a change being published. Each event page shows the date the record was last changed. During the season, line-ups can still change at short notice — always check the venue or ticket page before travelling.
Reporting an error
If a listing looks wrong, tell us. Include the venue, the date and what should be shown. See our corrections policy or use the contact form. We investigate reported listing errors as a priority and update the record if the report checks out.
Limits
We are an independent publisher, not a venue or a ticket seller. We cannot guarantee entry, line-ups or prices, and we do not publish private or unannounced information supplied to us in confidence.
