IbizaPlanner is an independent publication. This page explains who writes our content, how it is checked, and where the limits of our knowledge lie.
Who writes our content
IbizaPlanner content is produced by a small in-house editorial team. Where an individual contributor is responsible for a guide, they are named in the byline and have a public contributor page. Where no individual is named, the article was produced collectively by the editorial team and is published under the IbizaPlanner name. We do not publish content under invented author names, invented job titles or invented credentials.
How guides are researched
- Venue facts — opening months, address, area, capacity, dress code — come from the venue's own official channels wherever possible.
- Event line-ups and dates come from venue and promoter listings, cross-checked against our own event database.
- Practical information such as transport and public services is taken from official operator or government sources.
- Opinion and recommendation is clearly written as such, and is separated from factual statements.
What we will not do
- We do not fabricate quotes, reviews, ratings or attendance figures.
- We do not publish star ratings or review counts, because we do not collect them.
- We do not present a page as freshly updated when the underlying content has not changed.
- We do not accept payment to change a factual statement or a ranking position.
Commercial independence
