Corrections policy
We publish a lot of fast-moving information about a fast-moving island. When we get something wrong, we want to know and we fix it.
How to report an error
Use the contact form and tell us the page URL, what is wrong, and what the correct information is. For an event listing, please include the venue and the exact date. Venues and promoters can use the same route to request a change to their own listing.
What happens next
- We acknowledge reports about factual errors and check them against source material.
- Listing errors — wrong venue, wrong date, cancelled night — are treated as urgent and corrected as soon as they are confirmed.
- If a report cannot be confirmed, we tell you rather than changing the page on an unverified claim.
How corrections are recorded
- Minor fixes — typos, broken links, formatting — are made silently.
- Corrections to a material fact update the page and its stored update date.
- Where a correction changes the meaning of a published guide, we note the change in the article itself.
- Cancelled or moved events keep their page and are marked with their status rather than being deleted.
Right of reply
If you are a venue, promoter or artist and believe something we have published about you is inaccurate, contact us and we will review it. We will not remove accurate information, but we will always correct inaccurate information.
