Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: January 2026

IbizaPlanner is a free, independently-run editorial site. To keep the lights on we participate in several affiliate programmes. This page explains what that means in plain English, in line with FTC, EU and UK guidance on advertising disclosure.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a tracked URL. When you click one and then buy something on the partner's site, the partner pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same — the commission comes out of the partner's margin, not yours.

Where we use them

  • Ticket links — most "Buy tickets" buttons on event and brand pages route through ticket-resale partners (Ibiza Spotlight, Tixr, Xceed and others).
  • Hotel and villa links — accommodation cards route through Booking.com, Hotels.com or direct property partners.
  • Experiences and boats — activity bookings route through GetYourGuide, Viator and similar partners.
  • In-text product links — some editorial links across the site are monetised via Skimlinks, which automatically rewrites them when a partner programme exists.

Editorial independence

We choose which venues, brands and events to feature on editorial merit. A partner does not get a better review, a higher score or more visibility because they pay a higher commission. If we ever accept a paid placement, it will be clearly labelled as Sponsored or Ad.

Your privacy

Affiliate clicks share standard referrer information with the partner so they can attribute the sale. We don't pass them any personal data beyond what your browser sends. See our privacy policy for details.
