Santa Eulària is where families and couples base themselves. It is a proper town rather than a resort strip: a long seafront promenade, a marina, calm east-coast water, and restaurants that are not built around a club queue.
Why base yourself here
Distance from the noise, without being cut off. Santa Eulària is roughly 20 minutes' drive from Ibiza Town and about the same to the north of the island, so it works as a base for exploring rather than only for sleeping. There is no major club in the town itself — that is the point of staying here.
What is actually here
- A 3km seafront promenade, the flattest and most walkable in Ibiza
- Atzaró Agroturismo inland — spa, gardens and agroturismo dining
- Beaches on this coast are calmer and shallower than the west, which is why it is the standard family recommendation
- A Saturday market and a marina with a working fishing fleet

Getting to the nightlife
Everything is a drive. Amnesia at Sant Rafel is the closest major club; Ibiza Town and Playa d'en Bossa are 20–30 minutes. Expect taxi fares in the €25–€35 range each way to the south-coast clubs, and book a return in advance in August — this is not an area where taxis are queuing at 04:00.

Who it suits
Families with young children, couples, and returning visitors who have already done the clubbing trip. If nightlife is the reason for the trip, Playa d'en Bossa or San Antonio will save you both money and time.
